Design Curio is a brilliant idea introduced by Design Miami to provide a platform to emerging galleries who are required to present total environments of objects created by a single designer. It has emerged as one of the more surprising, unorthodox, fresh, and inventive aspects of the Fair, presented along Design Miami’s core galleries. In the upcoming show, which opens next week, tastemaker Patricia Findlay, participating at the Fair for the first time, will bring an installation entitled ‘NO SEX in Miami,’ created by Milan-based Atelier Biagetti of Alberto Biagetti and Laura Baldassari, a total work of art contains cotemporary Italian design. The objects, all in shades of pink, copper, and peach, are meant to provide the components of a sensual and provocative environment full of obsession. It will ace as the backdrop for a performance by twins Elena and Giulia Sella, who’ll perform psychological confrontation and obsession. All images, courtesy of Atelier Biagetti.
