Great news for those interested in ‘making,’ but have never made it to the annual seminar at Joseph Walsh’s studio in Cork, Ireland. For the first time the fourth edition of this seminar, entitled ‘Making in/Place 2020’ will be hosted virtually via ZOOM, on September 12th, 2020.
This global discussion platform will host six designers, architects, artists, and craftspeople, conversing on the culture of craft and on making. This year’s guests speakers are: Basket maker Joe Hogan; Ceramic artist Sara Flynn; Architects O’Donnell + Tuomey; Grafton Architects; Lord Burlington of Lismore Castle; Jeremy Irons; Lord Puttnam, producer of the film Chariots of Fire will comment.
