Design Miami/ for UNAIDS

Design Miami/ is so much more than a marketplace that offers some of the greatest objects available today. It is a celebration of many aspects of design, a festival for all senses. This time, Design Miami/ participates in a charity gala event that benefits UNAIDS, the spectacular United Nations Programme on HIV and AIDS. The event, taken place on Monday evening (tickets are for sale), comes to honor Kofi Annan, former Secretary-General of the United Nations. To connect design with humanity, Design Miami/ has created a curated auction, which will be led by Simon de Pury as a part of the party’s content, also including a special reading by Keanu Reeves and a live performance by Duran Duran. All proceeds will be used to support UNAIDS’ efforts to increase access to HIV prevention and treatment services worldwide, particularly for women and children. Design Miami/ and its team will greet all gala guests in its Verbussage. Below the objects that will be offered in the auction.
