Design educator and historian Daniella Ohad presents a unique online course exploring the foundation of modern design history. This intensive 5-session course provides an overview of Mid-Century modern design in America, France, Scandinavia, Italy, and Brazil. By examining interiors, furniture, objects, building, designers, makers, methods of production, and material culture, students will develop an understanding of the history of design and its visual vocabulary.
