I am pleased to announce that registration to the spring 2017 edition to my couture program ‘Design and Decorative Arts in NYC’ is open now. In exploring the season’s most exciting design events offered in New York City, we will be visiting the season’s best exhibitions, a new design fair, and we will be meeting with extraordinary talents in the world of design in their studios, and in the galleries that represent them. Focusing on design culture and the decorative arts, this program, which I have started in 2006 examines periods, styles, and idioms in modern and contemporary design, and through visiting New York City’s major collections, studios, private galleries, art fairs, historic houses, and auction houses, it provides a unique experience that allows us to think differently about design, to understand design better, and to keeping update on the most substantial events in the rich world of design.
