So pleased and honored that my flag program Collecting Design has just got accredited by the AIA (American Institute of Architects), and thus any architect attending the course would earn 6 LUs and 1.5 HSWs. This follows the recent relocation of the program to the Center for Architecture/AIA in New York. This unique program and the only one of its kind, comes to educates architect, interior designers, design lovers, art collectors, and those who seek to elevate their taste in this fascinating world. For the Spring 2019 season, I will host an array world-renowned experts: Larry Weinberg on Bauhaus100; Kelly Behun on the notion of collectible design in the 21st-century curated interior; Zesty Meyers on the contemporary design program of R & Company, the gallery he co-founded with Evan Snyderman; Felix Burrichter on a new design movement that in recent years has come to dominate the collectible design world, signifying narratives of 21st-century culture; Christina Miller on the behind-the-scenes stories at 1stdibs; Christian Larsen, design curator at the Met, on Brazilian mid-century design; and legendary collector Robert Kaplan on the American Arts and Crafts Movement.
